What is the most influential thing that you have heard on the radio? If you are a pilot what opened your eyes to safety concerns or even if you aren't a pilot?

Can only be that working in Namibia, was a fellow pilot, that was hit by a TAG 737-200 and it took off half of this vertical stabalizer.... scarey story. But I am sure it's old news (happened in about 2000)

My sector Timmins/Cobalt, where there tends to be much less traffic and more conversational times, I've hear my fav ATC guy's mic lock open on him.  Other times, like back in April when our weather was IFR and there were 5 holds, each time he keyed his mic, you could here the other guy beside him on the other sector's frequency.  And there are other times where I people yelling no, yes, air space and laughing like crazy.
