LAFD reporting plane crash just off Van Nuys

One plane apparently crashed just outside the airfield at Van Nuys airport, crews responding right now.

The plane veered off the runway attempting to takeoff. LAFD found the plane in a grassy area near a street on the airport property. No injuries. Investigation is ongoing.
