VTang Departure
« on: January 21, 2007, 09:47:52 AM »
Sometime before 12pm today there will be F-16's departing BTV to get for action. Yesterday 2 C-130's departed with troops for training before they leave for Iraq. So if you like hearing military departures tune in ASAP!!!

It was one of the quietiest takeoffs I have ever heard from VTang. I live about .25 of a mile parallel with runway 15/33 so I watch everything. They took off on 15 then banked hard left. Only 3 left but it makes you feel different knowing they are leaving for action. Lets all hope there safe.

Sorry callsigns were VTang 1,2,3

Right now there is a plane doing touch and go's from runway 15 then banking left I can see it out my front window. I don't know how long they will be doing this but its fun to hear.
