Qantas6019 (767-300) Gets parked at KVCV Victorville, Ca
« on: February 22, 2010, 04:14:18 PM »
I saw this on Flight aware, I thought that was a long flight for a 767. Sydney to So Cal Logistics in Victorville, CA.

I know they are parking some 747-400's there with the A380 arrivals, but does anyone know why they are parking it, or any others? Or are they doing some kind of upgrade on the 767?

Thanks
B

According to what I have read, Qantas has ordered 15 GE powered Boeing 787-800s...but they are not built yet...seems early to retire or store aircraft for that reason...

Could be just cutbacks, downsizing on routes, or that the airplane is quite simply, not needed.
