Title: URET Clearances
Post by: egothrasher on May 30, 2013, 10:59:20 AM
Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me decode some URET clearances for a class.

Refer to the images below to issue clearances to the following aircraft:
N83FJ
N482CP
AAL1753
USA178

Have you tried Google? https://www.google.com/search?q=URET+clearances&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:US:official&client=firefox-a

N83FJ -
The Computer Identification # is 390
Sector 24 has track control of the aircraft
Assigned (requested) Altitude - FL390 (if this were real-world the alt would be yellow indicating Inappropriate altitude for direction of flight IAFDOF)
Type - DA50/R
Route of Flight - Departed KSUS direct STL198105 to join the Lindy2 SID to LIT, J101 to IAH direct MAM direct CVM direct TMN... Points beyond and destination scroll off the page.

If you were issuing a clearance from the ground it would sound like this:
"N83FJ cleared to [destination airport] via the Lindy2 departure Little Rock, J-101 Humble, direct Matamoros, direct Civic Memorial, direct TMN (which doesn't exist), direct.  Climb and maintain flight level three niner zero.

You can use that as a template to decode the rest.
