United coffee spill leads to accedental squawk hijack
« on: January 05, 2011, 11:21:44 UTC »
Monday night a United flight bound for Frankfurt made an emergency landing at Toronto Pearson intl. Initial reports claimed a problem with communication equipment. I just rolled out of bed after hearing on the radio that in fact the PIC spilled his coffee in the cockpit leading to an accidental squawk 7500. I will admit half of me laughed and half did not.
