Uniden Scanners
« on: April 05, 2006, 06:01:46 PM »
i need some of your input on these scanners. i was wondering if there is a big difference between the Uniden BC92XLT and the bd72xlt. The Source in Canada sells the BC72XLT only, and i was wondering if its worth it to order the BC92XLT off the internet. which would be more expensive.

Thanks Alot

Is there anything specific about unidens you like? I know radioshack scanners are the same as unidens and they are 2-3 times cheaper...

That's not necessarily true.  Some models are, but many are not.

Just to be clear, what used to be Radio Shack and now called THE SOURCE is indeed not affiliated with Radio Shack at all.  RADIO SHACK CANADA has been reopened, and are opening stores across Canada.  So, once again we have both stores: The Source (which sucks if you ask me) and RADIO SHACK too!  They have the free-battery-cards for those you remembered from "back in the day".  :)

Tomato, i do have to agree with you on that one. The Source does suck! Im quite disappointed with the selection of scanners they sell. only 1! and i just bought one the other day.
