Haiti Earthquake, AWAX? Subing for ATC?

Who is controlling the traffic going into Haiti?. Last time I heard it was the USAF. I'm no expert but I would suppose they have AWAX out there or a mobile command to act as temporary tower. Anyone want to elaborate on this?

I heard the same, and would guess that that is the situation as of now. Pure speculation, but I think possibly a mobile unit has been set up and is being operated by AACS personnel, probably for control tower operations only. Something like the Oshkosh procedure?
I only say this because of my experiences (many years ago!) as an AACS operator in the USAF.

I read a article couple days after the earthquake there was a coast guard cutter that must watching over traffic till the USAF arrived and get setup
