Title: The MIAMI CENTER feed is DEAD
Post by: captkel on March 21, 2010, 05:19:34 PM
I replaced the coax this morning, all was working perfectly then I went out to have fun with the grandson. I came home around 3PM EST to find all the radios where on however no traffic was emitting from them, just static! What the  F happened??? :x  I tried to bring the mast down but the wind is blowing again between 20 & 30 knots (cold front coming through again) and being that I'm not Superman I just can't lower it. @$#&*#$^@  I spent all day yesterday and a couple of hours today working on the system...... My guess is the static discharge device or pre amp are toast. Hopefully it's the static discharge device, I have a replaceable cartridge for it. Weather permitting, tomorrow (maybe) I will figure it out until then the feed is off. Sorry.......but I didn't do it &*$%&($%^$^&.
Thank you for letting me vent
