I've been listening to my feed all day today. It's been pretty neat. It has rained since six this morning. We've gotten more rain today alone than we have for the entire month of October. And I thought Seattle was a rainy city...
Heavy precip. and extreme turbulence has been reported by just about every incoming aircraft. Wind shear alerts are reported every five minutes. Some aircraft have been diverted to Gulfport, MS. There has been a band of extremely bad (or red) weather coming across the field all evening. Some aircraft have been holding for long times. I'd recommend listening to some archives for some pretty cool stuff.

Southwest XXX "Land safely."
It's getting better fortunately.
