Tail strike Amsterdam?
« on: October 02, 2010, 04:47:43 AM »
Hello to you all.

I'm pretty new to this forum and to listening, so maybe this is a silly question.
Last afternoon (1 oktober) I was listening to Amsterdam Schiphol Tower (EHAM) and I heard a pilot of an outbound flight (I sadly cannot recall flightnumber) inform the tower that he possibly encountered a tail strike on take of and asked if any debris was found on the runway. Pilot told that he was returning to Amsterdam as a precaution. Later on he asked again is nothing (debris, tyre remains) was found on runway. Tower again said that nothing had been found. Another pilot asked (in Dutch) which runway was involved and got the answer (22).
Later on I was unable to hear the return of the plane and i cannot find any news on this. Does anyone have a clue?

Thanks,
Alex
