Last night I spent sometime in San Jose before coming home to San Francisco. Before I left I looked on Google Earth to search for any roads or parks along the shore line to look over the water and watch planes land and depart out of SFO. So on the way home my girlfriend and I found this really great spot in a park that I'm pretty sure was built just for doing this. You can look out and get a perfect view of runways 28L/R, and 1L/R. Now all I gotta do is get my scanner all charged up and head out!  :D

lol thats awsome im the same way with newark int, i got a spot on a low fence that you can see landings on 22L + R and also have a sick view of runway 27 landings, amd theres a taxiway about 30 feet away.  :P

Good find! Don't forget to charge the camera up too! I'd love to see some pictures from "the spot".  8)

I heard Philly runway 27L/9R is sweet. I'll have to check it out though. Sounds awsome though, I love the "loudness", Ive been on the philly USair ramp before.
