Can liveatc.net be streamed on a cell phone? If so, what model phones? And if accessory software is needed, please identify? Thanks.

I believe that the i-phone has the capability to do so & maybe the newest Blackberry. Not sure of anything else. Hope that helps.

Here's some help for the iphone:
http://www.liveatc.net/forums/listener-forum/liveatc-net-iphone-app/
If you a search and type "blackberry" that should pull up some info for the blackberry.
I use the iphone and the fstream app to listen to the the live feeds and it works really good.

I have a Samsung SCH i-760 with Verizon. To stream i use a program called Resco Radio. http://www.resco.net/pocketpc/radio/default.asp (http://www.resco.net/pocketpc/radio/default.asp) It has a 7 day free trial and is only 20 bucks to buy. The SCH i-760 will last about 3 hours on the extended battery and about 1.5 hours on standard. or take both batteries and get 4.5 hours. 8-)

If you have a Nokia Symbian S60v3 powered phone, like a Nokia N95, N96, N82, E71 and other N and E series, you can use the Nokia Internet Radio application to listen live feeds. You just need to enter manually the feed address and that's it.
Works flawlessly.

Interesting! I have the N82 and I've been looking for a way to stream! I'll give it a go.

Been using it for about two years now, on several HTC phones.
Hope this helps,
René.

if my phone is not listed in the drop down menu when asked "Chose Intended Phone" does that mean it won't work?
I have an HTC FUSE (AT&T, Touch Pro if on Sprint) It runs WM 6.1

I have an HTC FUSE (AT&T, Touch Pro if on Sprint) It runs WM 6.1
I also use an HTC Touch Pro and it works aswell on this phone.
I have been using this software in the past on an HTC 3300, HTC Touch Pro, HTC Touch Cruise
and right now on my HTC Touch HD, and it works fine. Definately worth the money !!
Hope this helps,
René.

We do not support RTSP yet. No ETA on it - not a high priority.

I bought Resco Pocket Radio.
I tried to install it on my HTC Touch Pro. This error message occurs...
radio171_2_signed.exe is not a valid Pocket PC application
I am sure that I purchased the right version.

Your phone is powered by Symbian s60v3, so no problem to stream, the only problem is that your pohone doesn't have WiFi, so you have to listen via GPRS or 3G (requires a LOT of data, so make sure you have unlimited data plan, otherwise you'll end up paying a huge bill).
However, just google for Nokia Internet Radio (I just did that for you, here's the link):
http://europe.nokia.com/explore-services/music/internet-radio/download
select your phone (it's in the list, no worries), then install it (preferably on your Phone memory, it doesn't take up much space) start the application, select new radio station, and enter the address from here http://www.liveatc.net/feedindex.php?type=all-us
The address, for example, for Boston Ground is this:
http://alt.liveatc.net/kbos_gnd
and you're all set.
Hope this is helpful :)

Just an update on the nokia link.

I was able to pull streaming audio on the Blackberry Tour. Took a little extra time to buffer, but after that everything was crisp and clear.
