Strange LAX Runway Configuration
« on: April 29, 2010, 09:54:36 PM »
Yesterday, I called the LAX feed and I heard them departing and landing on runway 24R. Why were they not using 24L yesterday? Today when I listened everything seemed back to normal. What was going on yesterday? Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Wow, did something happen on the runway to have all those debris there? I'm pretty sure not all runways are like that...

I get the feeling a lot of them would have random stuff, small stuff, hanging around. Question is, how often do they do this detail sweep?

I really don't know how often they clean the runway, but as you click the link just above the fuelcap you see they found wrenges, I don't call this small debris...

We here in Europe allready are concerned about plastic coffycups as an airplanes engine acts as a vacuum cleaner....
