Search & Rescue pilots need in search for for Steve Fossett

11 September 2007 - Nevada, USA - Additional search assets are being requested by Flying M search coordinator Mark Marshall. His specific requirements are:
Suitable turbine helicopters and experienced mountain pilots: We are looking to hire turbine helicopters suited to high density altitude operations with pilots experienced in mountain / high density altitude / high wind / very low and slow operations.
Additional trained SAR observers are also still required:
SAR trained helicopter observers: We also need helicopter observers with SAR / observer training or other specific and useful SAR skill. You will need to make your own way to the ranch.
Accommodation is still tight, so you will need a tent and sleeping bag or similar - and a commitment to stay for some time if necessary.
