Hello, everyone!

Just one more question. What does "stand by one" mean? Our controlles just copied this phrase from foreign crews but what is it actually? Suppose it means "Stand by one minute" but I am not sure.

Best regards

Just means stand by; wait.  Doesn't necessarily mean stand by for one minute.

So as I see it there is no difference between "stand by" and "stand by one". Is that correct?
