First of all, I'll start with this one. Chicago tower is audio is very low and squelch volume needs to be turned up higher. Chicago departure, two out of the three frequencies sound fine while the third has a loud squeal on it. However, it is intelligible. I mentioned this before and nothing came out of it, but I figured since I waited awhile I would re post and give the latest info. I think for Chicago departure, the frequency in question is 125.000. The squelch level on both approach and departure seem to be fine. Thanks for your concern, and have a great day!
