Space shuttle freq

Just curious. What frequencies do they use when the Space shuttle launches? Is is possible to tap into that or is it highly restricted?

Nah, its not restricted.  After all, you hear them all the time of television and such.  Of course, they use some different terminology and such as flying the shuttle is different than a normal aircraft. 

Better hurry though, the shuttle will be retiring next year!  It certainly has been a great piece of technology, arguable the greatest achievement of the 20th century.
