Not mentioned in the KREM story is that an Alaska Airlines flight landed right behind the SWA flight, and had to take evasive action that got the Alaska flight stuck for 20 minutes.

I am not sure why he didnt go around, if I hear more, I will post.
I'm guessing he was commited to land, so he did.
