Hi all just to let you know that the hf feed from new zealand is back up and running.
Thr radio is a Kenwood TS850SAT on a inverterd vee dipole up 30ft which is tuned on the 7mhz and 3 mhz ham bands.
I will send a upto date pic of the setup soon.
Cheers from Jason in New Zealand.

Good work Jason - thanks, ill be listening for many hours to come.

Sorry for the stupid question, but what does this pick up?
-
It picks up Auckland and Brisbane Radio.
These guys work the airspace over the Tasman sea, which, for those of us not from around here, is the body of water that separates New Zealand and Australia.
The actual Auckland Radio airspace (http://www.airways.co.nz/about_Airways/about_02.asp) extends a lot further than that, and I know the Brisbane Radio does too. I think we are only picking up the Tasman stuff.

You will also hear San Francisco Radio...heard them yesterday...loud and clear in the morning (morning in the U.S., that is).
