In a previous post here we were discussing SWA and their Wi-Fi situation.  I want to confirm the information I have.  As far as I can recall Wi-Fi is either cheap or free, but they don't allow you to do any audio or video streaming whatsoever.  If this is incorrect then please correct me.  Thanks.

Why don't you read Southwest's Website on the topic?

Quote
Q: How much does this service cost?

A: You can get online for $5 all day per device.*

Quote
Q: What can I do on it?

A: The Southwest Airlines WiFi Hotspot features a free portal that delivers limited content, including a flight tracker, shopping, games, and all that southwest.com has to offer, at no charge to you. On our network, you can do just about anything you can do at work or at home. As is common on many other public networks, we attempt to filter inappropriate content as well as voice (VoIP) applications. Due to the shared environment, the speed for viewing or downloading high-bandwidth content, such as high-quality streaming media or large-file downloads, will vary.

So according to the second quote audio streaming is not available? It doesn't seem that clear to me.  For example, if I wanted to stream a live ATC feed from my dads phone on a Southwest flight it would not be permitted?

I used live atc on a Southwest flight last December with no problems for what its worth.  They may have it blocked now but it worked then with no issues.
