KSMF Norcal Audio Quality
« on: March 27, 2018, 11:27:02 AM »
Hi everybody!
I'm new here. First I want to say thanks for everything you do. LiveATC has been a great resource during my flight training, and I enjoy listening.

I was listening to the KSMF NorCal Approach feed today. I noticed issues with the audio quality. Choppy static.

Not sure where to post this; feel free to move as needed.

Thanks!

I tried bringing this up previously in another forum topic. Its almost like theres other frequencies not listed that bleed through simultaneously at times. KMCC unicom is one example.
The KMHR - NORCAL 127.400 usually has pretty good audio though.

Sorry about the pulsing noise on the feed.   :| The line amp went bad.

Should be much better now..

Awesome and thank you for the feed! Its my local area so it's nice to see it up. If there is ever anyway to improve upon the feed I'd be willing to help.

I have a chance to make some changes to the feed (finally).  Hopefully there will be an improvement.

Sorry, but the feed will be intermittent today.

The gear has been moved.  It should sound a bit better now.
