I am a first time poster, so please direct me if this is in the wrong place.
My dad is retiring from flying this coming week after 33 years in commercial aviation and another 8 years flying for the U.S. Air Force. He is the captain on the Delta flight from Rome->New York on the 21st of November. The flight number is DL231 11/21 from FCO to JFK and it's scheduled to take off at 12:35 local time and land at 4:45pm EST.
I was wondering if anyone working the air traffic control towers that day might be able to share a note of congratulations, well done, happy retirement, etc.
Is anyone aware of a way to record the final flight? I tried to put in a help request here at LiveATC to see if we could pay for a recording.
We are very proud of him!
Best,
Jarrod
