Report: Missile fired at jet taking off from LAX?

Conflicting reports but I think was AA612 from LAX to ORD. Happened on November 26th and really early in the morning but no more details.

This is really interesting... one where I wonder if there will ever be a conclusive find.  If the rocket was "innocent" for whatever reason (hobbyist?), they must feel extremely embaressed right now.

if you notice it got airtime for about one day than nouting  sounds like the gov. is keeping it on the hush hush.  like they do with ufo of when there training goes bad    but who knows lol
