I really want to see if I can nail down ATC helicopter phraseology.
I tried listening to the "KLAX Twr (Heli)/SFRA" feed on LiveATC, but there's just too much noise to make out anything. The sound of the helicopter rotors, and the fact that sometimes there are transmissions on multiple frequencies that overlap each other.
I probably can't do much about simultaneous transmissions stepping on each other, but even when I listen to helicopter pilots talk, it's too hard. Is there a VST plugin or something that I can use that will give me good enough noise reduction? There is usually a high-pitched squeal that really makes things unreadable.
