Hey guys and gals, first post-
looked to see if i could find this on here before i posted but didn't find it, although i'm sure most of you have seen it, but incase you haven't:


I wonder if they take that out of his paycheck for that month? :)

I hadn't seen that one before, and it certainly is interesting!    :shock:

I do have to wonder though, if most of those kinds of videos aren't records of some sort of flight testing. I mean, for the thousands upon thousands of landings that take place every day, what are the chances of a camera being there, rolling, when one guy really prangs it?

Yep, seen the same video credited to a DC-9 flight test of a prototype doing high descent rate touchdowns. The descent rate was on purpose. The tail coming off was a design issue and apparently required a fix.
