Looks like the PSP feed is down. I know the reason why, but wanted to give those here a heads up.
SoCal TRACON is pulling PSP airspace, including the TRSA, into its airspace. Those working PSP Approach/Departure have moved to the main SCT facility in Miramar, and are operating out of there. Until they get things finalized, they are leaving the equipment they have at the PSP TRACON at that building for at least 6 months. also, this is in case of emergency and SCT has to be evacuated, etc.
What this means (and I'm not familiar with the local area around Palm Springs, and my assumption only) is that if there wasn't a repeater in the area of the feed, the scanner in that area probably lost line of sight with the facility.
I know that the feed also included PSP Tower, Ground, the CTAFs for Bermuda Dunes, and a couple of Center frequencies, so what are the odds of getting hold of the person running the feed to take the approach and departure frequencies off the feed?
