Title: Problems with hosting a feed and MSN?
Post by: StephenM on May 15, 2005, 06:39:10 AM
Anyone else here having a problem with MSN Messenger while they are hosting their feed? You may have noticed my feed (EGGX/EISN/EIKN) been down lately, but it is because I cannot send messages on MSN with the feed been up!  :?:

There is no connection between the feed software and MSN...at all.  Do you get an error message or something more specific?

I run MSN Messenger and haven't had a problem.  What version is it?

Ok, thats odd.
Its MSN 7 (Not Beta).

After running the feed for a few days, I started getting messages that when I tried to send messages, they could not be sent. And once I dropped the feed, MSN returned to normal.

Go to the tools tab, and then audio and video tuner.  If you have a webcam or run audio conversations it might be taking away from the feed, but I doubt it...I would say re-install MSN
