Recommend me a receiver

I want to buy a receiver that can pick up the air band.

I heard about ICOM IC-R5, YAESU VR-120 D, UNIDEN UBC30-XLT... and much more but dont know what's the best one...

I'm not interested only on this 3... if you know about others one just notice me.

I have around 150-200€ (eur) so please recommend me a great receiver for fan purpose.

i'd like to add something to this if i may.
i'm looking for an handheld reciever which i can throw in the car and take around with me, plus use in my offices which are on the top floor of a building. plus i can connect a small magmount antenna onto a window ledge. I can see EGCX tower and i'm no more than 10-15 miles and directly under the apporach, so i'd love to rig something up that's cheap and cheerful.

oh. i must emphasize cheap. :)

You could go to an electronics store and ask them for advice. Anyway, a cheap receiver/scanner will be a compromise wrt. quality aspects. There are a few models below €100.

I recommend buying a scanner that automatically checks several frequencies (10 programmed frequencies will be plenty) and off course: check airband support (118-137 MHz); support for 8.33 kHz channel spacing is a pre, but not essential yet. Make a list of the details that are important for you (earphone connector, external antenna connector, etc.)

I started with a handheld model (RS PRO-82) since its my firs model, I cannot tell how its compared to others, but ok to my purposes, I live close to Puebla airport, but there is a railroad yard close by, so I listen to that too, and police, and cabs opps etc. after that I found out I liked the hobby so I got a RS PRO-2032, then a beracat BC350A, and after that I own 6 more (a PRO-97 handheld too) right now I own 9 scanners, and of these, one got brand new, all others from EBAY, so far all work great, so far the three I have been able to test (antennas are made by myself, with pipes and wire ) I feed puebla using PRO-2032 and an antenna made with wire and a PVC pipe (check it out  :roll:), my point is you can get a cheap scanner in EBAY, to start with and go from there...  8-)
