Plane Finder Live
« on: September 09, 2013, 01:43:23 UTC »
I've been using PlaneFinder.net to track flights while listening to their traffic on the feeds online.  I just got the Plane Finder Live app for my iPhone and noticed there is a noticeable difference between the flights plotted location on the website and the app.  Just curious as to which is the most accurate, web or app?
Thanks

Both, the website and the app, show two types of data. One is ADS-B, which is very accurate and the other is FAA provided data, which is delayed by several minutes.  By default, the FAA delayed data is displayed as orange aircraft icons.
