LAS Vegas App/Dep hearing LVMPD in the background??

I am listening to Las Vegas App/ Dep right now and when I turn it way up, I can hear Las Vegas Metro Police Dispatch in the background.... (Only hen the controller/aircraft are not talking, that seems to mute it out )
Has anyone else experienced this??
I know here, our police dept is on an 800mhz system...wouldn't think it would interfere with aircraft frequency's.

O wow I never knew it was doing that thanks for letting me know

It would appear to be a intermodulation problem between scanner <> scanner sharing the same antenna, this would not be a problem in the future as that scanner would go to a isolated antenna soon
