It's been a few days now and the OWD feed is just roaring noise all the time. Communications do come through if you can stand to listen to the static...Maybe someone "touched stuff" over there and hit the squelch knob?

Smedley - sometimes squelch is setup hairline close to the static border, and weather or other local variations can affect background noise, changing where the squelch needs to be set. I re-set the squelch seasonally on my feeds for that reason. It may not have gotten bumped, but good for the feeder to know it needs an adjustment.

Thanks MikeNYC! Yeah, I understand that. After I posted this the problem was resolved very quickly. Now again the same roaring has been "up" for a few days. I don't think the feed hosters listen to the output and something goes awry and it just stays that way. I have friends who fly out of OWD and I like to keep tabs on 'em! Maybe someone over there will see this post and readjust again...
