This is my second year riding the Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC). The PMC raises money for life-saving cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through an annual bike-a-thon that crosses the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
The PMC route that I ride is about 165 miles over two days (Wellesley, MA to Provincetown, MA on Cape Cod).
I am 40% of the way toward raising $8,000 this year that will go directly toward helping to provide Dana-Farber's doctors and researchers the necessary resources to discover cures for all cancers.
I don't know a single family that has not been impacted in one way or another by cancer. Please consider supporting my ride - no donation is too small: http://www.pmc.org/profile/DP0183
Thanks in advance,
Dave

Today is a day of mostly rest. I've trained hard for this ride (Pan-Mass Challenge) - we ride because we can, and to raise money for cancer research and treatment. And because any day riding a long bike ride is better than a day having to deal with cancer.
So if you care about beating cancer into submission, please make a donation to a very worthy cause: http://www.pmc.org/profile/DP0183
The PMC donates 100% of every rider-raised dollar to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through its Jimmy Fund.
Thanks, everyone!

I about a week away from the fundraising period closing for the 2012 Pan-Mass Challenge. I am at 85% of my personal fundraising goal and can use your help.
Please see: http://www.pmc.org/profile/DP0183
The ride in early August was extremely hot but I survived and it was another great experience.
Please pitch in and help find better treatments for cancer. It affects so many family members and friends - please do your part to help.
Thanks in advance,
Dave
