Okinawa malfunction
« on: January 05, 2005, 04:24:41 AM »
There appears to be an improper connection concerning the Okinawa feed. As if a cable was improperly plugged on the receiver / PC end, , which results in a continuous loud sound which has been heard for the last 24 hours and which prevents any listening to audio ! . As we can't sent private messages to the person concerned, I wonder what could be done to warn him there's a problem with  the connection. Any ideas anybody ?

Sorry about that, the grounding cable had come loose on the scanner.  It should be fixed now.

Glad to see there are people out there that enjoy listening to us military guys and gals over here in Okinawa.

Happy New Year!

The problem seems to be fixed now. Thanks!
Yes indeed there are people out here in the west of europe, 9 hours away from you,  who really enjoy listening to the work you are doing in Okinawa! It is great listening to all the activity and indeed it is a very busy place!! very "exotic" for us Europeeans who are not familiar with all these "Japan Air Lines" or other japanese civilian stuff, and also the very busy Kadena base !! Particularly now, with all the disaster relief activities going on through the region, it makes all the more interesting listening !! Keep up the good work, and I wish you all american ATC controllers over there, a very happy new year !!
