Title: OKBK - Kuwait International - Weak Feed

Hello , I was glad to learn Kuwait International is available at the site but unfortunately the feed is weak and it disconnects every 5 seconds . I tried other feeds and they are great . I wish someone can help . I wish the feeder can work on it if it is a source problem . Awaiting your feedback .

I quite agree on that Kuwait International (OKBK) is a very important ATC-feed. However, according to my experience the feed seems not to be “disrupted”. There is an “ssssssssss” competing with the ATC-transmission but I also think the feeder continuously improves the transmission.

Thanks axel for your reply . What makes Kuwait International special to me is that I like aviation so much and I work in an area close to Kwait International Airport . I see planes taking off and landing . It is so interesting to listen to the ATC and later see the airplane which you have listened to landing safely or taking off .

I hope it will get better soon . I tried it again and unfortunately , it doesnt work for more than 4 seconds !

Today I tried the feed . It works without the usual disconnection but there are much noise and ( zzzzzzzzzzzzz ) sound and barely could I get anything from the transmitions . 

The feed needs to get better and better ...

Hi Whocare!

While waiting for Yousef’s opinion I can from my horizon say that zzzzzzzzzzz-sound seems to have disappeared. In other word conditions seems perfect!

Hello friends , It is better now . Disconnections contiune to happen but after a fair amount of time .

I wish it always gets better and better ...

Awaiting to be able to recieve some other ATC in the region .. DUBAI for example .

Hello whocares  ,, well ... so far so good ... I am enjoying it and hope every one does .... sometimes it acts weakly ...  but overall .. it is alright ....

Hey there

Thanks for providing a feeder from the middle east region. I hope someone can provide a feed from my hometown of Dubai :)..

I was listening to the feed 10 minutes ago and while I can hear the pilots well, there is a lot of disturbance when ATc talks and sometimes, its barely audible. Could you please look into this?

Unfortunately, I live about 20KM north of the airport. I used to have good reception of the tower but a huge apartmant block was built recently blocking my direct line-or-sight with the airport. My antenna is alread at the maximum cable lenght. Its about 40 meters off the ground. So unfortunately this is the best I can do until I get  some sort of amplifier.

Actually , there was a piece of news on the site forums that Dubai feed would be soon available but that was supposed weeks ago .

Untill you get your hometown feed .... I hope you would enjoy OKBK .
