A single-engine plane trying to make an emergency landing off of Northwest Expressway hit a tree and crashed in a ditch in front of a Bank of Oklahoma on Saturday morning.
Five people were aboard the plane when it crashed. Two adult men and three adult women were taken to a local hospital in serious to critical conditions.

“I could see the firemen kind of panicking in front of the plane and trying to get the people out of the plane,” said Amber Dowell, who works at Tan & Tone America across the street from the accident. “It was kind of crazy and scary... I’ve never seen anything like it.”

The accident happened near the intersection of Northwest Expressway and Candlewood Drive about 9 a.m.

If I'm not mistaken that's pretty close to Wiley Post airport. A GA field in nw part of the city.
