Boston crash Beech Bonanza Angel Flight
« on: August 14, 2008, 11:42:36 AM »
Not having any detail, escept for what has been provided by news, could it be possible that the pilot (angel flight) was interfered with by the terminally ill patient on board ?

There is no evidence of this whatsoever.  There was no sign of duress at all in the pilot's voice.

At this point I think we just need to let the NTSB do its job.

The patient's wife was on board and there were two four year old children at home.

I suggest you leave the wild speculation like that to paperback novels.

All it takes is for a person to rip off the headset ... and no more communications

Just like it was stated.  Wild speculation.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion.  Out of respect for the deceased, though, it's just unprofessional and rude to continue to bring up such a remote (and grim) possibility, especially when there is no evidence whatsoever to support it.

Clincher404 and interested parties, just for your info if you haven't already. The audio communication between Controller and Pilot concerning the incident in question is available on the atc/aviation audio clips. Dave did a nice job editing out all the dead air time.

Sounded to me like the pilot was having medical issues.
