"A Northwest Airlines McDonnell Douglas DC-9-30, registration N8925E performing flight NW-7012 from Charlotte,NC to Minneapolis,MN (USA), was performing an ILS approach to Minneapolis' runway 30R and had received landing clearance including "winds 340 at 22 gust 37, wind shear all the way down, braking action good". The airplane scraped one of the wing tips over the runway during landing at 07:46L (13:46Z), but rolled out without further incident and taxied to the gate.

The FAA reported unknown damage to the airplane."
