Nor/Cal departure KSFO
« on: October 07, 2008, 04:38:25 UTC »
Good evening.

I have noticed that Nor/Cal departure for KSFO is stuck on NOAA weather radio.  I am curious as to what happened, and I wanted to let the feeder know about this strange situation.  Please address the issue, if possible.  Also, if possible, inform us as to what happened.

Be well,

Chananya Freedman

This is a LiveATC owned feed, run locally in SFO by DynEd.  We will look into it, though for the life of me I am not sure why we need to inform anyone about what happened.  :-)  Sometimes buttons get bumped by accident - it happens.  As long as nobody died and no animals were harmed in the button bumping I think everyone will survive this little mistake.  ;-)

We should remember this is all a free service and thank those who make it possible instead of demanding answers when feeds go down temporarily!

In the event that this is a sign of the "vast right wing conspiracy" at work.

I thought it was interesting because I also have a NOAH weather section in my itunes and SFO weather sounds better on the Live ATC feed than on the weather underground feed.  I thought that was funny.  Have a great day guys.
