NYCAviation's co-owner and editor-in-chief has passed
« on: January 25, 2013, 02:00:14 PM »
Just saw the news on Twitter that Matt Molnar, NYC Aviation's co-owner and editor-in-chief, died very unexpectedly last night at the age of 33. I will miss him in my Twitter feed for sure. :-(

This is heartbreaking and sickening news.  I met Matt in person for the first time at Oshkosh 2012.

Very, very sad day.

My heart goes out to Phil Derner and everyone else in Matt's life.

RIP - he will be missed.

This is very sad news for the ATC world.  Which brings up my question.  Will the Twitter feed disappear?  Or is somebody else going to continue to run it?  I am currently out of room on my Twitter, so if it is going to go away I know I can take it out.  My thoughts and prayers go to the family of the deceased.  May we all hear good news and not sad news.

Thank you for your support, guys.

Though Matt did a majority of the tweeting, we at NYCA have other social media contributors and the news and tweets will not end by any means. We will strive to continue to deliver the same level of news and information that Matt brought to the table.
