New ZBW Boston Center (CLIPR32/HTO31/SOUTHIE49) feed!
« on: November 17, 2012, 05:49:34 PM »
Just thought I'd mention that I've started a new second feed that covers 135.8 (ZBW low) and 124.525 (ZBW high).  The ground side from both of these frequencies can be heard!  Thanks to my parents for moving down to eastern Long Island!  Without that, this wouldn't have been possible.  132.3 (ZBW backup) and 121.5 Guard) are also on this feed.

In the afternoon 135.8 handles traffic descending into JFK that then get handed off to NY Approach 125.7.  In the evenings you'll hear overseas flights climbing out of JFK.  This freq also handles descents into PVD and ISP.

124.525 handles traffic passing over Long Island southbound and northbound.  There are also overseas flights climbing out of PHL on this frequency in the evenings as well as inbound overseas flights to PHL in the afternoons starting their descents.

Lots to listen to!  Comments or suggestions welcome.

Many thanks to Dave for his extensive help setting this new feed up.  Thanks a million Dave!

Ron

Just a quick note to let you all know that the feed is down for a short time while new cables are being installed in the neighborhood.  Should be back up soon.

Feed will be up/down during the day today.  Trying to deal with a computer issue that is unrelated to the feed itself.
