Title: New York TRACON 128.12 New
Post by: Lynch_Christopher on April 13, 2014, 02:30:00 AM
I was looking at the JFK approach plates and saw that they have 182.12 listed and was wondering what sector this belongs to. I didn't see 128.12 on the N90 layout sheet.

That's the new CAMRN sector frequency.  Been that way for a few months.

Thanks for the info. It's been a while since I took a look at the approach plates so just noticed it. Any idea why they switched?

They may have been interference on 127.4 - they actually tried a different frequency in the process as well.

There are changes going on all over the FAA system, all the time.  And they're not always documented quickly.  Especially on a Wikipedia page.

Besides the CMRN frequency changes have there been any other changes?

That is the only one I am aware of in N90.

It was changed due to interference on 127.4. That is the only frequency change at the moment, unless you're inquiring about any procedural changes.
