I'm pleased to announce we have two brand new LiveATC.net fliers to present this morning. These fliers feature a more professional appearance, graphical design, and simplified wording than our previous one. We kindly request you print a few copies and post them at your local FBO, flying club, etc. As dave reiterated when the first flyer was posted in February 2006, this will be a huge help in attracting more listeners, and hopefully feeders to LiveATC.
A big thanks to Ed McCoy (PHL Approach) and Gordon G. (from the NYCAviation forums) for allowing us to use their photos and to Nate J. for his "catchy phrase" contribution we selected.
Here are the two designs (click design to download high resolution PDF):

Thanks!

Nice job Jason, if this flying thing doesn't work out I'd say you could have a carreer in advertising.
-
Wonderful. I like the first one. It's very professional looking.
-
Nice job. They are both really good. I will try to get one at the flight office in Y72. It is a small airport but there is a lot of traffic there.
-
Wow, excellent job. Like others have said, it really looks great.

Jason,
The flyers look good. I just found this web site a few minutes ago after googleing SelCal. I read your answer to the earlier question and also went to the link. Both were helpful because I couldn't remember what it stood for and I never realized what the "bing bong" represented.
I am researching CPDLC / FANS1 and when I google it, I come up with articles, but was hoping you might recommend a site that has more basic information on the subject.
If you have a moment, thanks for your help,
Scoop

Thank you, John. We certainly appreciate your efforts to spread the word.

There was some discussion in another thread about changing the wording of the slogan to something a little more appealing to the ear. Has that fallen though? Seemed like the decision had been made barring objection, and I don't think there's been any real objection.

The flyers were designed to be printed on standard 8.5 x 11" paper. Can you print that size from your computer?

Can we get the file in original format, so we can modify it (to spanish, for instance) or fix some mistakes it now has (files are kept to up to 21 days, not 30) yeah, yeah, I know a pilot must be able to speak/read english but not all listeners are pilots or they are just starting, besides I would like to be able to point them to Puebla feed too !! :-D
