Title: New JFK Departure chart?
Post by: nitroboie on October 03, 2006, 11:13:33 AM
I've been busy for the last couple of weeks and finally got time to listen to the feed again and realized that there's a Kennedy One departure now. Does anyone know why they changed it from Kennedy Nine to Kennedy One? Flightaware hasn't updated the charts yet, but the new one is on airvav, however I can't seem to find the changes.

So far, this is what I can see...

The Kennedy 1 (JFK1) DP is pretty much the same as the JFK9 except for the following changes:
* Slight wording changes made to some of the DEPARTURE ROUTE DESCRIPTIONS
* Bridge Climb now requires ADF (for some reason, it never did before)
* "remain within JFK 4.5 DME" restriction on the Canarsie and Breezy Point Climbs deleted
* New departure exit point: RNGRR
* RNGRR integrated into Breezy Point Climb procedure.
