It would appear that Dave hasn't yet added it to the feed list, but in addition to my KCLE feed (http://audio.liveatc.net:8012/kcle.m3u (http://audio.liveatc.net:8012/kcle.m3u)), I'm also running a Cleveland Center feed available here:

Sure thing. Perhaps this takes some of the fun out of it, but I just put *all* the non-military CLE center frequencies into the scanner. I spent some time monitoring them and divided them up into ones where I heard traffic and ones where I never heard anything (but they're all still programmed in):
"Active" frequencies:

120.6000
120.7750
127.9000
134.9000

"Quiet" frequencies (from my location, anyway):

It's possible that something will come in on one of the "quiet" frequencies from time to time, depending on the weather, time of day, etc. The scanner is physically located in the Cleveland area.
I didn't put any names on them because different frequency sources sometimes seem to give the same frequency two different names. I plan to take some time this weekend and figure that whole inconsistency out.

On your "Quiet" list 132.950 and 135.775 are no longer used. Other frequencies you don't have listed, that you should be able to hear traffic on, are 120.325 and 127.675, there are a few other new ones but you'll never get them with your current reception range. I'm guessing you are using an indoor antenna ? From what I've heard your reception range is probably close to 50% of what it could be, around 100 nautical miles at typical cruise altitudes (with a good antenna you can pull in around 200 nautical miles), that's why you are not hearing much on your list of quiet frequencies. Do you have a copy of the Cleveland sector maps ? Someone posted them here awhile ago, they really help when you are trying to figure out what's what. I can post them here if someone can remind me how to do that with this forum format ? DJ

I do know definetly you will be able to get no problem as Jetscan said is 120.325 this covers super high which is definetly in my opinion readable in your area due to altitude.

I could have sworn I saw a request for ZOB frequencies 120.62, 128.02, 118.62 and 119.37 to be up. You might be in luck because I thought there was no way I would pick those guys up. But for the most part alot of them are coming in more clear than ZDC traffic right next to me.

Had a quick listen with the radar (Flight Explorer) up. Your reception range towards the north/northwest is exceptional. From what I've seen and heard you are receiving traffic right out to the theoretical VHF line of sight maximum distance. As an example, heard a Northwest A320 enroute from BOS-MSP checking on at FL360 coming in 4/4 that at the time was just north of the Syracuse VOR, about 220 nautical miles from PHL. The only problem is given your distance you are only picking up traffic in the far eastern/southeastern portion of these Cleveland sectors, everthing in the western half is out of range.
I'm busy for the next few days, but late next week if you're up for it, it would be interesting to check out some other sector/frequency configurations. Sounds like you would have great reception and full coverage of the New York high sectors to the north.

Yea I thought I heard the western stuff coming in scratchy. But last night I heard CPA889 JFK-YVR clear as anything on one of those frequencies. But yea, Im up for scanning some other stuff. Not using my scanner for anything else so let me know.

You're getting traffic out of the New York airports loud and clear on the handoff. From what I can tell New York seems to hand them off to Cleveland about 40-50nm before the FIR boundary. I'll be back Thursday night, then will have some time, talk to you again then, thanks. DJ

Wow cant believe the range you are recieving Ed!!!!!!!! Sounds good really good. My usual tracker I use along with the feeds is FLIGHTAWARE by the way.

Ok since we now have 3 feeders of ZOB I was thinking of PIT's feed of ZOB EAST could be 132.125,135.175,125.425,121.075,119.725,and 133.075.
i saw this request so i programed these into the ZOB WPA scanner.

Thanks PIT and PHLAPPROACH for assisting in Eastern ZOB COVERAGE. I know I am sounding a bit whiney but would be nice to see HOPKINS to put back 120.075 and 134.775 back(havent heard mush traff on said freq's). But his feed would be so complete if he would kindly add 120.325 on his feed(extremely high traffic sector) which would cover super high from EASTERN OH TO THE ZAU boundary. Do I hear anyone else echoing my thought here ???????

Okay, I spent some time going over my frequency lists and I'm not sure what the heck I was thinking when I posted the original list. All the frequencies on that last are ones that I have actually heard traffic on. The rest of the frequencies (on which I've never heard anything) are stored in another bank that I have turned off.
So, all those frequencies are active and being scanned on the zob_cle feed.
I also just added 120.325 and 127.675 per the suggestions given here. I haven't heard anything on them, but I only listened for a few minutes. They're in the mix now, anyway.
Anyway, I went through all my frequency sources and put names to all the frequencies -- different sources listed different frequencies by different names, so I listed both of them where applicable:

In all those sources, I could not find either 132.9500 or 120.3250. 120.325 was just given to me by NYARTCCFAN and Jetscan1 (any idea what name to apply to them)? I don't know where the heck I got 132.95 from, I can't find it anywhere. Maybe I just made it up? Or typed it in wrong?

118.625 is High that lie's under the 120.625 Ultra High sector and 133.525 is a Super High Altitude that Lie's overhead of the 135.724 sector. 120.325 like I mentioned covers a vast expanse of area overhead the 133.375/119.325 sector corridor. I do know that those sites that list frequencies aren't really that up to date with their information. Someone mentioned her on the board that it takes alot of listening time to figure out the new frequencies and update yourself on your listening experiences. Great feed if I haven't said so since where I live at in the NYC area I hear tons of BOS/BDL/MHT/ALB/PVD,JFK/EWR/LGA,PHL,IAD,DCA,AND BWI INBOUNDS FROM CLEAR ACCROSS THE COUNTRY AND THE MIDWEST. I rate this as one of my top 3 feeds to listen to

The Algonac feed when it come's back up should be 126.525,133.875,133.525, and 135.725. Someone in the NE AREA OF ZOB or PHLAPPROACH carry 119.375,128.025,120.625,118.625,127.475,125.2,and 132.4

Im currently feeding some of DJ's ZNY request. I will look into putting those ZOB freqs in my scanner sometime in the future.

I can look into adding 124.325 and 126.975 (both Wayland: Low). Do you think I'd be able to pick up anything on 126.725? It's labeled as "Bradford", and if that's Bradford, OH, it's pretty far away from Cleveland to pick up a "Low", don't you think?

The center of these low sectors are about 150 nautical miles from CLE, even with a good external antenna and no obstructions you will only get partial coverage of this sector depending on how high the aircraft are. The last time I listened to your feed the reception range seemed very poor, like around 50% of what it could be (with a good antenna, no obstructions), so my guess is you would get nothing on these frequencies ? But the only way to know for sure is just try listening to those frequencies only and see if you hear anything.

While it would be nice to be able to monitor all those frequencies suggested, IMO it doesn't make any sense trying to scan them all on one radio at the same time. First of all unless you have a scanner with some sort of hyper scanning speed, the begining of a lot of transmission will get clipped, and because it's such busy airspace each frequency just ends up blocking out the other ones. So what ends up happening when you try to scan close to 30 frequencies as suggested, yes you hear almost nonstop chatter, but you are probably only hearing maybe 10% on each individual frequency, making it very difficult to follow what is going on.
Personally I think it's much better trying to concentrate on a smaller area at a time. The problem with the CLE area is there is a lot to choose from. If it was me I'd pick one of the following configurations to scan at one time.

Ideally you would have 5 separate radios, but in this case with only one radio, a possible solution might be to rotate through the various configurations, changing it up every week or so. Just a suggestion. DJ
