I'm looking for someone who's fairly familiar with the active HF frequencies for the Pacific area. I have some of the listings but haven't had luck hearing much. I am putting a couple antennas up soon that will be directed towards the west (I'm on the East Coast) but I would appreciate help from anyone who is familiar with traffic patterns (peak times) and frequencies used during different times of day.
Thanks,
Dave

What experience in Pacific listening I have comes from a DX Tuners reciever I use occasionly in Santa Clarita near LA This guy has a good HF ant sysem going out to the ocean....5547 and 100570 seem to be active however a bit of time spent useing this node will give a very good picture of the action

Night:
5547 - San Francisco
6673 - San Francisco
5574 - San Francisco (Most active during the night)
8843 - San Francisco (Most active during the morning)
Daytime:
10057 - San Francisco
11282 - San Francisco (Most active during the daytime)
13354 - San Francisco (Most active during the afternoons)
Also if you're able to hear it, 8867 KHz is a good freq for South Pacific.

I am curious as to what these towers look like. How you get them and how much they cost..
