Title: NDB, VOR simulator
Post by: Jonathan_tcu on September 18, 2005, 07:27:48 PM
It helps to fool around online sometimes through various search engines.  I found an excellent simulator that really helps understand pilot/aircraft navigation with the ADF and to/from the VOR.  If anyone's interested, I'll post the link next time.  :D

Ah, someone beat me to it.  That's the link.  I've been reading up on this VOR/NDB stuff and never could imagine how it worked in the cockpit, where the to/from flag jumps up when passing overhead the VOR and how the other gauges tell you where you're going and how to turn towards a station.   :D
