Oakland General Aviation coming on line?
« on: April 26, 2008, 05:45:48 PM »
Hi,

Flew with Lou out of the old 'T's circa 1983.
If you have been flying out of OAK for a while, you will
know father and son.
Will someone be streaming the general aviation side?

Dick - Now in Virginia

Ok guys, you got me thinking again about the General Aviation side of Oakland. I can pick up North Field Tower & Ground. Did a little experiment today and put 2 additional frequencies (North Field) on my existing KOAK feed, but there was too much audio chatter going on.  What I can try is to have South and North Fields seperated on the Left and Right audio channels.  Depending on the listener's preference, using the audio balance control on the player will isolate the Left/Right audio channels making it a little easier on the ears during busier times.
This just might do the trick?
Giving it a try now.

I just wanted to say thank you again for this feed.

Oakland is my favorite airport but unfortunately too far away to listen to on the scanner from home. The clarity is wonderful, and the ability to decide which scanner is more dominant (north or south field) with the balance slider is fantastic.

Bravo!  :-)
