Title: Mix up on approch

Was listening to JFK @01.30ZULU when American 2 landed and requested the phone number of the approach control as there was a mix up on final approach,what I'm not sure.

My question is ,would this be to make a complaint or to discuss what happened?

If the pilot requested the number, could be both discuss and/or complain.

I have never heard of a pilot requesting a number to say "good morning".  :-D
