B717 Decending out of 4,000 on the ILS 33L about 13 mile final, @ 0247z.

772 listeners on the TWR feed
284 on the APP/DEP feed

Received landing clearance for 33L at 0249z

UPDATE: 0254z, CFR (AKA: Fire Command) checking gear and made a safe landing.  Holding short of 22R.

NOTAM: 22R closed for Emerg. a/c, but 22L is open.

my wife is calling me sick since i am watching the tv and listening to the feed. My first ever emewrgency of any sort aviation wise hearing live/almost live. Got to thank Dave for this site

That is correct, one of the few Virtual Airlines being able to legally use the name and likeness of its realworld counterpart.

The real Midwest Airlines can be located at www.midwestairlines.com

The virtual airline can be located at www.vmidex.org

VATSIM- in case you are wondering is a network where people with MSFS as pilots hook up to a server with other people as ATC with ASRC to create the most realisitc virtual simulated aviation environment. That site can be located at www.vatsim.net
